House of Khayal is a 100% foreign-owned Emirati niche fragrance brand inspired by the soul of the Emirates and the timeless traditions of Arabian perfumery. Born in the UAE, the brand draws from a culture where scent is more than adornment—it is hospitality, identity, and legacy. Rooted in the soul of the Emirates yet shaped by a global vision, we are devoted to crafting perfumes that speak the language of royalty—timeless, powerful, and exquisitely refined.
For generations, fragrance has held a sacred place in Emirati life, from the ritual of burning bakhoor to the generous anointing of guests with precious oils. House of Khayal honors these customs by reimagining them for the modern world, crafting perfumes that reflect the dignity, generosity, and quiet power once reserved for royalty.
Each creation is shaped by the spirit of the desert, the warmth of oud and amber, the richness of resins and spices, and the elegance of balance. We work with rare, noble ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship to preserve authenticity while elevating it through contemporary expression.
House of Khayal exists to share the essence of Emirati heritage with the world—fragrances born of imagination, rooted in tradition, and crafted for those who carry themselves with distinction.
A BLEND OF EAST AND WEST CRAFTED THROUGH THE ART OF PERFUMERY
Inspired by the rich olfactory heritage of the Emirates and interpreted through a global lens, we create perfumes that honor tradition while daring to reimagine it. Each scent is a dialogue between past and future—where deep-rooted Arabian notes meet contemporary artistry.
Our vision translated into launching an exclusive Oriental Perfumery House with a Mediterranean touch that perfectly reflects the Emirati cultural mix and the local traditional craftsmanship heritage.
We wanted a perfect cultural blend reflected through our perfumes, the strongness and sensuality of the Oriental essential oils combined with the freshness of the Mediterranean scents.
The Emirati perfumery is rooted in ritual, richness, and the sacred. In cultures across the Middle East, and Asia, fragrance has long held spiritual and symbolic meaning. Notes such as oud, sandalwood, amber, rose, saffron, and incense are portals to memory, connection and reverence. Scents are worn close to skin, layered through oils and attars, and experienced as deeply personal expressions of being. The East prizes longevity, warmth, and sensuality, A single drop of a pure oud oil or of amber attar can linger for hours, evolving slowly and intimately. These scents tell stories – ancient, smoky, mysterious.
In contrast, Western perfumery developed through artistry and elegance. It became an accessory of style and self-expression. The Western pyramid of top, heart, and base notes creates dynamic fragrances that evolve over time – often starting with bright citruses or herbs, moving into florals, and settling into musk or woods. Ingredients like bergamot, iris, vetiver, vanilla, and lavender characterize this tradition – clean, expressive, often minimalist in design.
Perfumery is more than scent – it is storytelling without words, a sensory bridge between cultures, memories, and emotions. In the modern fragrance world, few concepts are as captivating as the blend of East and West. This fusion, crafted with care and artistry, reflects not only the convergence of ingredients but also the meeting of philosophies, traditions, and identities. When Eastern depth meets Western structure, the result is an olfactory harmony that speaks to a truly global soul.
When East meets West in perfumery, something extraordinary happens. The structure of the West elevates the intensity of the East; the richness of Eastern notes gives soul to Western composition. A fragrance might open with Japanese yuzu or Italian bergamot, dive into a heart of Damask rose and cinnamon, and settle into a base of Laotian oud and French tonka bean.
The blend is more than just a formula – it’s a cultural conversation. It’s the smokiness of cigar tobacco wrapped in Middle Eastern amber, kissed by the brightness of pineapple and pepper, and grounded in cedarwood and sandalwood. Opulent yet refined. Old world meets new. Traditional meets modern.
